Mysteries of the Kingdom of Heaven Part 3

The Kingdom of Heaven Is Valuable
The Parable of the Hidden Treasures (Matthew 13:44) A farmer found a treasure of great value in a field. He hid the treasure, sold everything he has to buy the field.

The Parable of the Pearl (Matthew 13:45-46)
A merchant found a pearl of great value. He sold everything he has and bought the pearl.

These two parables give us a picture of how valuable is the kingdom of heaven. It so valuable that it is more than any other kind treasure where when someone found it, he will give up everything he has just to acquire that gift. These two parables were very direct to their message.
This is supposed to be a natural picture of what should happen when a person received Jesus Christ. Unfortunately, many Christians found it too boring inside the church. Instead of seeing the church as a blessing, they are seeing it as an obligation to church. If we really believe that the word of the Lord is like a treasure to keep, we are supposed to enjoy meeting him every morning especially during Sundays.

Conclusion:
The Parable of the Householder is not really a parable that was recognized by any other writers and scholars. But here we see a conclusion. It says, “Therefore every teacher of the law who has been instructed about the kingdom of heaven is like the owner of a house who brings out of his storeroom new treasures as well as old.”
This simply means that the truths that were discussed by Jesus should be understood in the light of the old truths and vice versa. This means that they these truths jive each other.
